Whether inside or outside the country, a foreigner is given a residence permit for self-employment without needing a guarantor/employer or an employment contract.

1. A copy of the passport and its validity is not less than 6 months.

1. Log in to the smart services system through (UAE Pass or username).
2. Search for the service to be applied for.
3. Fill in the application data, where applicable.
4. Pay the service fee (if any).

2. Get the automated turn ticket and wait.
3. Submitting the application that fulfils all conditions and documents (if any) to the customer service employee.

Terms And Conditions
1. Obtaining a freelance work permit from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
2. The minimum educational level should be a bachelor's degree, specialized diploma, or its equivalent
3. The applicant's annual income from self-employment for two preceding years should not be less than (360,000) three hundred and sixty thousand Dirhams or the equivalent in foreign currencies or prove his financial solvency throughout his stay in the country.
